Madonna Clues into 'CSI' Crossover Although Madonna's new album is being released on Warner Bros. Records, Viacom seems to be the media conglomerate of choice to promote the disc.MTV and VH1 have already begun a slew of Madonna-related programming in advance of the Nov. 15 release of "Confessions on a Dance Floor," including last week's premiere of the documentary "I'm Going to Tell You a Secret" on MTV. Now, her Madgesty is crossing over to the broadcast side of the Viacom ledger for another promo opportunity."Confessions'" first single, "Hung Up," will be featured in a two-part crossover episode of "CSI: Miami" and "CSI: NY" during November sweeps, CBS says. The two series will showcase remixes of the song at the top of each episode."Hung Up" has already received its debut on MTV's "TRL" during a Madonna appearance last week, and VH1 is set to play host to the premiere of the video for the song later this week. She also appeared on CBS' "Late Show with David Letterman" last week, joining Dave for a short horseback ride on the street outside Letterman's theater. It was her first time on a horse since breaking several bones in an August riding accident.The "CSI" crossover is set to begin on "Miami" Monday, Nov. 7 and wrap up on "NY" Wednesday, Nov. 9. The story will find the CSI teams in both cities trying to hunt down an escaped serial killer.
